Platform Paths on Kubernetes and Radius
Published: September 2024
September 2024 was a major platform-expansion window for TraderX.
Several streams converged:
- Initial conversion of main services for build/deploy progression (
#206). - CI and image-scanning hardening (
#222,#227). - Improved Kubernetes local developer experience (
#232). - Radius deployment/modeling contributions landed (
#204).
This period demonstrated both potential and tension:
- Potential: TraderX could support richer runtime paths and platform abstraction experiments.
- Tension: each new path increased maintenance complexity and branching pressure.
In hindsight, this was one of the strongest signals that we needed a better way to model parallel and sometimes competing paths without forcing all outcomes into one evolving code line.
That signal directly influenced the later shift to state-based spec-first generation.
