Architecture Overview

This document provides an overview of the Morphir Rust architecture.

System Architecture

The system consists of:

  • CLI (morphir): User-facing commands
  • Devkit (morphir-devkit): Configuration and extension discovery
  • Common (morphir-common): Shared infrastructure
  • Host (morphir-host, morphir-host-native): Extension registration, resolution and execution
  • Daemon (morphir-daemon): Daemon errors, extension file loading and workspaces, as a client of the host
  • Extensions: Language-specific implementations

Crate Responsibilities

Each crate has clear responsibilities for separation of concerns.
